Keeping in mind the importance of understanding the Qur’an, the MSA for the first time, has initiated this weekly class for Muslims and non-Muslims alike to understand the sciences of the Qur’an. ‘Ulum al-Qur’an (Sciences of the Qu’ran) will endeavor to provide a deeper understanding of the final revelation from God to mankind.
In ‘Ulum al-Qur’an, we will be learning from the book titled, “‘Ulum al-Qur’an: An Introduction to the Sciences of the Qur’an” by Ahmad von Denffer. The course will cover many important aspects of the studies of Qur’an, including its revelation and reasons for revelation, collection, abrogation of verses, and many other topics.
