Fasting is a practice that every Muslim should seek to establish in their lives. Not only is this a Sunnah (a practice of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him), fasting also provides tremendous spiritual and physical benefits to the individual.

The MSA encourages Muslims at Baruch to fast once a month during each semester. And, we promise we won’t keep you hungry or make you spend money on Iftar, because Iftar will be provided by us every time!
