In an effort to live up to our goals, the MSA holds Dawah Table every month to spread awareness about Islam to all of Baruch community. Giving Dawah should be an ongoing endeavor of every Muslim. After all, it is because of the Dawah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the blessed Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, that we are Muslims today.
Every month, the alumni of Baruch MSA take valuable time out of their busy schedule to come to the College and team up with the undergraduate members of the MSA to organize this project. May Allah, subhanahu wa ta’ala, reward them for their work!
Over the years, we’ve managed to give out hundreds of translated copies of Qur’an to many non-Muslims on campus for free. Everyone, from professors and custodians to general students, have shown interest in the literature we have on display. We also give out free brochures on various topics that interest non-Muslims, such as Human Rights in Islam, Hijab and Women in Islam, Life After Death, etc.
Dawah Table is held every month in the Newman Vertical Campus building’s 2nd floor lobby, from around 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
