For the past two years, Alhamdulillah, by His Grace and Help, the MSA has continuously provided for an orphan in Kenya. Sister Kowsar Mohamed Dagane, who is only 10 years old, lives in Dadaab, Kenya.
According to the report provided by the sponsoring organization, Kowsar lives in a hut made of mud and thatch, with no electricity or gas. However, from the support of all the donors who have generously donated to MSA ever since this project was initiated, we’ve been able to provide schooling for her, amongst other essentials.
Everyone deserves a fair and equal opportunity to have proper food, clothes, shelter, education and access to a standard health care system. Sponsoring orphans will allow them to grow up in proper surrounding and if Allah wills, they can grow up to do great things for their community and country – and in sha Allah, you will have a part in making this happen.
We encourage you to maintain your financial support towards this project, so we can continue providing for our sister Kowsar. May Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala reward you immensely for your efforts and grant you closeness to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in Jannah.
Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I and those who care for orphans will be in the Garden like this,” and he pointed with his forefinger and middle finger and made an opening between them. [al-Bukhari]
